New(er) commission from Comic LO vol. 43. Nendo crafts a social commentary on the credit market collapse. Two young lovers suffer the financial instability of the housing market. While the girl's family might live slightly beyond their means, in a huge house with a yard which is presumably in Tokyo, it ends up falling to the next generation to shoulder the burden, culminating in the separation of Yuri and Tomo. A touching re-envisioning of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet, set in subprime-ridden suburbs.

Here's one that I remember from back in the day. Could have sworn I read it in English, and not all rewritey. Maybe I was just understanding it in Japanese and not reading it in English. ...Meh.
The title is something I kinda had trouble with. It's litterally "Sound of Rain Time" or "Raindrop Time". "Rainy Day" wouldn't be totally inaccurate, but the character for Day is pretty basic and not found here. So, I settled with "To the Sound of Rain".

Also, I'm 99.8% sure this is Hoshino Fuuta, but do feel free to inform me of my idiocy if I'm wrong.

Who, What:

I, sirC, have been doing translations and editing h-manga and doujinshi since December 2005. All of my previous efforts can be downloaded from sirctranslations.blogspot.com. All of the releases there have been done of my own accord and released publicly. I'm now offering my services as a translator and editor if you'd like to see an h-manga or doujinshi translated into English.

How much:

Base rate: $1.00 per page.
Base completion time estimate: 4 business days.

This includes translation and editing work. As such, there are a few factors that could affect time and price. Respectively, they are...
-Intensive editing work resulting from alpha layer speech bubbles, floating text, or excessive text.

-Hardcore "alternative" (read: /d/) genres, which includes guro or scat. An extra $0.15 will be added to the per page cost of these.

You'll have to provide me a copy of whatever it is you'd like translated, only then will I be able to give you a final quote on price and estimate of when it will be done.

Payment:

Right now, I can accept payments through PayPal, but I will do my best to accommodate your preferences.

Distribution:

After your commission's done, I'll send you a passworded .rar file containing the finished work. Then, upon confirmation of payment, I'll provide you with your password. Whether or not you'd like me to distrubute it publicly or host it here is entirely up to you.

Misc. Info:

Any commissioned work I'll do will look the same as any of the other previous works I've done, i.e. no watermark or full length credit page. The only place I take credit for the translation is under the artist's name. If you'd like credit for commissioning the translation, I'd be willing to do it in the same fashion.
